Link to Thames-side path from the new Walton bridge - and annoying Cyclists Dismount sign because of course cyclists can't be trusted to turn 90 degrees without mowing pedestrians down

The new Walton Bridge - the Bailey Bridge alongside (for cyclists) has been demolished, and the new footways will be open for cycling, but not yet.

No cycling on the Thames Path under the A308, Staines

Thames Path, Staines - no cycling here

Funky modern design in Staines town centre - no signs to ban cycling, but it's probably not allowed here.

Plastic geotextile surface on Thames Path (cycle route) - very rough, though it'd be much better if laid level.

Walton Bridge - cyclists can use the old bridge across the Thames, but have to use the busy carriageway across the dry bridge immediately southeast. To be changed, perhaps, when the new bridge is built.

Walton Bridge Road - a major bottleneck. Cyclists can use the old bridge to the east. A major new bridge is planned, presumably with some kind of cycle facilities.

The Thames Path crosses the river by ferry from Shepperton to Weybridge

Thames Path cycle route at start of Shepperton bypass.

Thames Path cycling route following the Chertsey Road on shared-use path for quite a way.

Start of Thames Path south/east from Staines
